The Context & Challenge

Clickmax is a robust sales ecosystem combining a funnel builder, payment processor, and CRM. The platform saw massive user spikes during high-profile live events, but we hit a major retention bottleneck.


Acquisition was booming while churn was even higher. The product was too complex for new entrepreneurs who joined in the heat of a live stream. They would abandon the platform minutes after signing up, overwhelmed by the technical hurdles of launching from scratch. We realized there was no point in pouring more water into a leaking bucket. We had to fix the product friction before scaling acquisition.

The Strategy

The main friction point was blank canvas anxiety. Users were getting lost in design details instead of focusing on their business strategy. As both the designer and a power user, I realized we needed to shift the focus from building to launching.


My hypothesis was that providing pre-built, high-converting templates would bypass technical friction and accelerate the time to first sale. We decided to replace the empty editor experience with proven, ready-to-use blueprints.

We developed a library of modular blueprints covering the entire journey. These were not just standalone pages. They were integrated flows connecting advertorials, squeeze pages, checkouts, and post-purchase sequences.


By simplifying the interface and providing these strategic shortcuts, we lowered the learning curve for non-technical users. This shift empowered entrepreneurs to go live with minimal guidance, effectively reducing churn by 21% and significantly increasing user activation across the ecosystem.
